Top gaming laptops equipped with the RTX 4070 graphics processor are capable of producing stunning frame rates, making games look beautiful – but these machines don’t come cheap.
Luckily, some models can be found for less money – this Asus TUF A15 features top-tier components without breaking the bank.
1. ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 X3D
The 2023 Strix Scar 17 X3D is the premier gaming laptop, providing superior performance that rivals desktop setups. Utilizing AMD Ryzen CPU technology with 3D V-Cache for the first time ever on a mobile platform.

Gigabyte offers several screen options for its Blade laptop, from 1080p 144 Hz panels to 4K 240 Hz displays with flickering issues; though serious esports players might consider opting for one of those later as it will provide extra performance benefits.

Real-world performance of the Blade 16 was admirable as well. Our tests in Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p with High settings yielded an average framerate of 148 frames per second – an improvement on last year’s Blade 16.
